Jane Austen Names

While my blog often focuses on names that aren't very well known, I thought I'd give today to some names found all over birth certificates and classic English literature - the works of Jane Austen.

Being that I have quite a few friends who study English literature, I'm sure there are a lot of opinions out there on Jane Austen's body of work. Her characters are more than memorable for many! Let's look at some of the classic names she focused on, shall we?

The names that jumped out at me were Elinor (the less-used spelling), Marianne, Fanny, Georgiana, Fitzwilliam, Selina, and Louisa. What names are you drawn to?
